It's not so much that, she is seriously mentally ill and is reported to consume a LOT of drugs. Get off the drugs first.

I honestly thought everyone knew her drug history and was hoping as part of her new exercise and eating habits she would stop main lining coke. Ill make sure to add stop doing drugs next go around.

She was a kid, they don't make the best decisions, a good chunk of this is on her parents for putting her there.
Sad situation a lot of these child actors end up becoming.

Her look is a definite trauma response. A bunch of research out there this days pretty much saying as much; that folks that alter their look in an extreme way and get several tattoos in short time all kind of coincide with mental issues from a previous trauma starting to resurface.
I hope she has people around her that care for her, she's definitely had her struggles.
