By the hot topics, I really dont know. Upvote for Republican, downvote for democrat.

1. I'm not against abortion. Although I would like to see the adoption process be easier and that route be chosen over abortion.

2. I am against welfare for individuals who abuse the system. (The exception being the medical part). If you can work, doing anything at all, you should have a job and no one should be given support if they are capable of working.

3. I am for affordable health care. Although I dont think we have remotely come close to creating a logical system for it.

4. I'm fine with people owning guns. I have guns.

5. I'm all for the death penalty.

6. I'm not religious.

7. I dont think you should receive any benefits based on your race.

8. I'm fine with Mexicans that come here to work. I would rather make them citizens and deport out a lot of lazy Americans.

9. I have zero issues with gay or transgender people. You be you. Just fricking have a job.

10. I believe in global warming and consider myself an environmentalist. But I'm not peta level crazy or anything like that. I just believe that the earth is our home and would should take care of it.

11. I think lawsuits against corporations for on the job injuries have gotten out of control. If Billybob sticks his hand in the fryer, its Billybob's fault.

12. I think we are just in spending money on overseas wars. I would rather the wars be fought on their homeland versus them gaining strength to come fight us on ours.

I guess that's enough to get a an idea of my views.

If you need any clarification on any topic I mentioned or one I didn't. Just ask.

Despite what this board will tell you, most people are very similar to you. If you agree with 100% of the politics of a single party or politician you're a thoughtless idiot.

You would be a middle of the road Republican or Democrat if such a thing still existed.

You sound like someone who hasn't picked a side and takes each issue as they come.

That being said, you are being sold a bill of goods on climate change, but I do agree we should take care of the environment.

Things are okay with me these days

I got a good job, I got a good office

I got a new wife, got a new life and the family's fine

Ohh we lost touch long ago

You lost weight

I did not know

You could ever look so nice after so much time

Do you remember those days hanging out at the village green

Engineer boots, leather jackets and tight blue jeans

Ohh you drop a dime in the box play a song about New Orleans

Cold beer, hot lights

My sweet romantic teenage nights

Ignoring lots of scientific data that supports it. Could you tell me who greatly benefits from proving it is actually happening.

I would identify with the Republican stand on most issues, except I am a tree hugger, and the GOP is godawful on the environment.

ETA and I'm not even talking about climate change. Just run of the mill stuff like preserving wild areas

I'd like some clarification here...

a) I'm sure the latter statement was tongue-in-cheek... because there is no where that we can deport American citizens to, even if it was legal. SO we have our lazy moochers, and they are a significant drain on our taxes.

b) Are you aware that Illegal Immigration depresses wages and this hurts the WORKING POOR more than any other class of people. Are you aware that even liberal economists do not argue this point?

Are you aware of the studies that show in some urban areas, the HALVING of illegal immigration would put from $60 to $130 PER WEEK extra in the pockets of your fellow Americans who are in the working poor class?
