I actually think many argued this type of drift between the classes needed to end in 2016. I'm not talking about pure capitalism at all, I'm referring to the inability for 1000's of small businesses not being able to snag the first round of PPP because of exactly what you described. The large connected corps cutting the line while the rest are still on speakerphone waiting on Hold to see if their apps are even received.

He wanted LSU to tank the season so Orgeron would get fired. That's the line of thinking you're dealing with.

I am a bad Catholic too then as I fricking despise it.

The same people always bitching about it are the ones growing up that never paid attention in school. They were the ones playing paper football while the others were learning math in third grade. Same ones in high school that skipped all the time and partied all the time, now they complain about the rich.

The mother frickers act like teachers weren't telling them if they didn't pay attention they would be ditch diggers. Now that they are adults and ditch diggers and similar jobs they want to complain about economic inequality. frick that.

In the end, unless you are a trust fund baby, we are all self made. Good or bad our choices determine our lot in life in 98% of cases. Those choices start in grade school, but it's our choices no matter the environment.

This is class warfare too. Although you don't hear about it as much. The system is too centralized. It's set up just for the rich to get richer.

You're arguing against a point no one is making.

The question isn't whether wealth is generated, the question is how it is distributed.

That's a legitimate question in a society where a person who had earned $5000 per day, every day, since Columbus discovered the New World would still have less wealth today than Jeff Bezos makes in a week.

seems like you use the term "class warfare" to disassociate with the the harsh realities the less fortunate population faces. if you truly believe the first part i quoted, you should feel bad about not caring,

I would ask you, why do they have poor health care? What choices did they make in life to end up in such a spot in life that they have horrible health care and insurance?

I would also ask you if they are under 50 and take damn good care of themselves including eating correctly and exercising why do they need much health care? Did they graduate high school, not have kids out of wedlock and get a job as soon as they were done with school? If not, why not? Because if you do those things you have greater than 80% chance of being middle class.

I would also go a step further, would insurance be affordable if they cut cell phone, cable, etc and budgeted correctly?

Why are they not able to go to the free clinic a couple times a year for just a check up?

I would ask why they have risky jobs, what decision forced them to take that kind of job and live in crowded conditions? What have they done to improve their lot in life?

I don't care about people being in those situations you described. I care that the opportunities are there for those that have the desire, to get out of those situations.

Like I said before, good or bad, 99% of people in the USA are self made.

My mind is still blown that millions of people thought the only candidate who could fix this situation was a billionaire Manhattan real estate developer who was born into the kind of wealth that insulates you from all consequences of your actions.

Wait are you surprised government stepped in and screwed something up? Look the government fricked up the market by interfering with market forces, now they are screwing it up even more with a terrible roll out of ppp.

It's almost like government is inefficient and terrible at these kinds of things.....

This. If you find yourself in a poor situation, odds are you put yourself there. You don't work, you don't eat, it's as simple as that. Way too many people like to blame others for their problems. And way too many people like to pretend they care about others while they tell the self sufficient that they're callous. No, you want to help people, that's on you, knock yourself out. Don't tell me I'm uncaring because I don't volunteer my resources for your cause celebre. Spend your own time and money, not mine.

It doesn't take someone that smart to graduate high school, don't have kids out of wedlock and get a job right away. Do those and before you are 39, you are solid middle class.

Lol.

You actually think who the President of the United States is at a given time matters in who is poor and who is rich in this country and any “gap” between the two.

That’s funny.

If you're a citizen of the United States and you're poor, you have made a series of massive mistakes and/or are unforgivably lazy. That's the uncomfortable truth you refuse to realize. There are very few exceptions, of course, but these represent a tiny fraction of poor people.

Asians, Africans, and Middle Easterners come over here with just the clothing on their backs, speaking zero English, yet are middle class in 10 years because they work hard, save their money and value education.

Meanwhile, our poor get hooked on drugs, quit school, live off the government and make excuses as to why it's someone else's fault and scream about "needing equality".

Hate to break it to you- if you can't make it in the US with Section 8 housing, school loan programs, the GI Bill, food stamps, utility assistance, welfare, WIC, Pell Grants and subsidized daycare, you can't make it anywhere. You're just destined to be a broke dick.

Absolutely, the sad part is this president along with social media is one of the better ones we have had at stopping this, and it's still horrible. It's sickening.

Go to school or learn a trade, don’t have kids when you are a kid, and save your money young. It’s really that simple.

Liberalism is the Party of Envy. They aren’t just envious of Jeff Bezos, they want the middle class, as well. They won’t be happy until they have a piece of EVERYONE’s money.
