Nope not at all. I get everyone is not dealt the same hand but it really is not hard to live a decent middle class life in the USA. The truth is most poor people end up that way because they make terrible decisions. Also much of the news you read is only half true or certain key details are omitted, because a story with a victim gets clicks. Sadly our society is paying people to continue making terrible decisions.

If you're a citizen of the United States and you're poor, you have made a series of massive mistakes and/or are unforgivably lazy. That's the uncomfortable truth you refuse to realize. There are very few exceptions, of course, but these represent a tiny fraction of poor people.

Asians, Africans, and Middle Easterners come over here with just the clothing on their backs, speaking zero English, yet are middle class in 10 years because they work hard, save their money and value education.

Meanwhile, our poor get hooked on drugs, quit school, live off the government and make excuses as to why it's someone else's fault and scream about "needing equality".

Hate to break it to you- if you can't make it in the US with Section 8 housing, school loan programs, the GI Bill, food stamps, utility assistance, welfare, WIC, Pell Grants and subsidized daycare, you can't make it anywhere. You're just destined to be a broke dick.

As far as Covid, I think it’s more that lower class don’t respect the rules because they weren’t raised with many, they’re not social distancing and staying in their house, a lot aren’t working so they’re still going to stores, families, their boy or girl house, bbq’s/parties, making babies, etc.... life hasn’t changed for a lot of them, they were already on welfare...that’s my cynical viewpoint.

This pandemic sure has forced the issue on this forum being as openly racist as possible.

I'm sure I'll get replies arguing against this but it's been on display on a variety of forums pretty much every day. I knew this site has some shite people but the last two months those shitty people have really tried hard to push their shittiness on everyone.
