When the university stops making decisions based in liberal, I know better than you, kind of ideas, I'll think about giving.
Until they start thinking nationally rather than locally nothing about LSU - academically speaking - will change.

I guess you should donate every paycheck you receive for the rest of your life to increase that percentage and to show your appreciation to Southern for allowing you to attend grad school there

Lol you realize a lot of employers don't cover parking?

I would venture to guess that such employers offer convenient parking options within close proximity to their office or place of business.

LSU's cheapest option was at least a 1/4 of a mile hike from Aster Street to Dalrymple. Now, that's not a walk that bothers me under normal circumstances. However, when you are dressed in office attire and are attempting to get to work on time, it's not the most convenient option.

The reason people don't give to LSU is because we know that .40 of every dollar you give them goes to finance Louisiana state government corruption.

Trust me. Once I finally get settled I will donate to Southern. Most likely it will be on a quarterly basis each year. Perhaps $50 to $100.

LSU never calls, mails or emails.

That has a lot to do with it. Tulane mails and emails regularly and sends a free quarterly magazine.

As an LSU alum, I don't give them shite. I know just how much money is wasted at that school, I'd rather not throw my money down the drain, especially not while F King is still in office.

You'd guess wrong. Besides, it's what? $500 a year for the highest tier?

ecause LSU has been extremely anti-Greek life in the past decade so I'm not going to reward that type of administration with my hard earned dollars

I'm an Alum and there's not a chance I'd ever give a dollar to LSU for the above reason.

I was going to make a funny comment but then I saw Tennessee was dead last behind LSU so I decided against it

All universities make you take classes that may or may not benefit you but are required for degree. Trying to make students well rounded.

I give to the LSU alumni association and TAF. Helps with scholarships and LSU athletics. Tax write off

You know you can direct your gift to your graduating college or department?

Myself and wife are seldom contacted and we are members of the Alumni Association.

I just gave $2750.26 in exchange for my 2 football tickets that include games against Jacksonville State, University of Southern Mississippi and South Alabama.

We donate to kids high school. At least we see where the money is actually spent.

I think Louisiana politics and the people's distrust in the overall system plays a big part of it.

They rape me in TAF fees every year. I'm not giving anymore to a university that makes shitty decisions.
