Excellent branding choice by the team organization. The bridge logo is ridiculously bad. The fleur de lis?
The OPs "friends" version is even worse. Just lumping in more Cajun/Creole culture for laughs?

I’ll be at the games but this name selection pretty much eliminated me buying any merch.
I don’t like zydeco music, I think the name is stupid and has nothing to do with BR…and if I’m being completely honest, has lessened my excitement for this new team.
I’d seriously rather be something generic like the eagles or the lions or some crap.
I would bask in happiness if we were the chicken fingers instead of the damn zydeco
