How bitter are you?

This place never disappoints with the amount of miserable fricks that congregate here.

Glad this story had a happy ending OP.

Man....Glad they are okay, buddy.

You are certainly right....You never know what's around the corner- and no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. We all get caught up in our routines- but it's so damned important to cherish who and what really matters....

That’s right.

Cherish and make the most of each day, because that’s all we got.

When I was a youngster my family and several others were on our way to a vacation trip in Arkansas camping.

We stopped at a rest area and as we were chatting a tire came bounding through the area at 60-70 mph, it had came off of an 18 wheeler (rim and all).

Went right between a group of kids, no doubt it would have seriously injured or killed one it had hit them.

You do realize that we’ll over 90% of the time a wheel comes off a heavy truck that the trucker driving the vehicle had nothing to do with the substandard repair or failure?

I was going down 1-10 to a LSU football game years ago when a tire came off a truck and rolled down the interstate for a half mile before jumping the median and nailing a car. Very surreal..., it was like slow motion.

I was a passenger in a car on I-70 in Denver when the hitch on a truck in front of us came out. It started skidding all across our lane and we couldn't merge over because we were in the middle lane with traffic on both sides. At the last second the thing did a flip and flew right over our car. Thankfully nobody was behind us. It was one of these guys. Not something you want coming through your windshield.

That's why I changed my phones auto-lock from 10 minutes to 30 seconds and added the iris scanner security.
