Heartbreaking, man. What her family is going through....That's a cruel type of pain no one should have to endure.

A bright young lady with everything in front of her extinguished by lowlife scum that will remain so forever.

Those responsible will never truly get the justice they deserve on this earth- which is disgusting.

Have they’ve stopped working the case?

I decided today that they are not saying anything about it in hopes that we will forget. Pretty soon they will just lump her in with all the other murders in Baton Rouge and she will become only a statistic.
BRPD and the mayor’s office should be ashamed for letting this case fall by the wayside.
Poor, poor, girl. This gets me so angry every time I think of her last moments.

Some of the goodwill stories I have heard about the friendships and relationships she created on her short time on earth are really remarkable. There was not one person that had a bad thing to say-seemed like a pure soul that seemed to be taken too soon. Condolences to her family and friends. Live like Allie!

Well then on such a time we should highlight each and every officer that has failed to do their jobs.

Take it for what it's worth, but I was told by someone with some law enforcement ties that a critical piece of evidence was needed to basically seal the deal, but a warrant for it couldn't be acquired because there just wasn't quite enough for the warrant to be approved.

Not doubting you at all, but I believe they are just putting that out there to make themselves seem less lackadaisical and are working the case 24/7.

If this is the case then they know who it is. No way I could be a cop that knew cause me and that girls kin would be taking a late night ride.

7 months later and still nothing. This case will undoubtedly affect LSU’s future enrollment and public perception in a negative away. You can count on that.

Record number of 40,000 applicants for 7,000 something freshman spots. Not sure it will affect anything. Sad situation.

My daughter has always wanted to go to LSU but after seeing about this case and seeing what has been going on around Baton Rouge lately she has changed her mind and will go somewhere else. She said she doesn’t feel safe around there any more and I definitely don’t want to push her to go somewhere that she doesn’t feel safe.

One of our neighbors currently goes to LSU and lives in an apartment with some roommates and they are pretty nice apartments but if she knows her roommates are staying out really late at night or not coming back to the apartment that night she will drive to her parents’ house to stay the night because she doesn’t feel safe by herself.

It’s sad that it has gotten to that point.
