That and they also admitted BR has gangs. Someone posted something MP said in February that contradicted what he said in last week's press conference.
Then SWB talked about some of her programs. What I got out of their press conference was them trying to hold up several shiny objects hoping to take the attention off a case they don't want their feet to be held under the fire on because they don't want the public to see that if the person who commits a murder isn't served to them on a silver platter then there is a really good chance it will not get solved because they simply don't have the man power (which is part of the reason crime is being spread out all over the city).

Publicly shame them weekly by discussing arrests and how often the suspects have been arrested and released.
That sounds good an all, but once you get into office if you want to do the best you can so you have to stay in office and publicly calling out other elected officials who are elected by the same voters who elect you isn't going to keep you in office that long.
Its not an easy game to play. It might be a little easier in smaller towns, but there will be times when you will need something from those people and if you go right in and start calling people out. Its going to make your job harder.

There is a reason Nak does a lot of his stories in smaller towns. And there is a reason Kiran Chawla is reporting independently.
There jobs are on the line as well if they call out the wrong people. It sucks and that's not how its supposed to work, but that's how it has always been. Social media allows this stuff to be exposed more.

It shouldn't be a game. The problem is the elected officials don't do what's best for all. They are often influenced by the vocal minority. And, the electorate are a bunch of pansies who don't contribute to the overall good of the community because they want a handout.

So apparently we are pretending this never happened, which allows it to just disappear!!! frick that, it’s time for us to quit complaining and do something. Why can’t we organize a group of pissed offed citizens to protest at the sight until we are heard!!!

And this could be said for lots of the localities that bitch here but do nothing. I’m different myself; been here my entire life but time to find somewhere else to raise my kids.

The reward money has been increased to $50K. Apparently Uber driver have been interviewed who were working the area at the time.

Thanks. I did read about the Uber drivers being interviewed which I think is a solid idea but probably won’t yield much info. These dickheads who shot her did it when nobody was around. Except maybe the witness that Kiran claims. And Allie’s dad claims. And the other owner of The Shed claims.
