According to the family friend that is fielding a lot of the media there is a business where it happened that has cameras & as of his interview yesterday BRPD had not asked to view footage
Who is gullible enough to believe this?

Why would the family lie?
In February Murphy Paul stated in a press conference Baton Rouge did not have organized gangs
Yesterday he stated there were 8 active gangs in BR
I’m not sure I 100% believe that no one has asked businesses for footage but I don’t trust Paul either

I’ve read your posts in the last several pages of this thread and you’re either extremely naïve or you’re being willfully ignorant.
Have you had to interact with BRPD in the last few years as a victim of a violent crime or as a close family member of one?
I seriously doubt it, I have. If you have then you wouldn’t post a damn thing you’ve said in this thread.
For context feel free to search my posts in this thread, you don’t know what you’re talking about unless you’ve experienced their incompetence first hand

So the FBI, the DEA, the ATF are here, yet no one has thought to ask Bengal glass to look at their surveillance cameras of the scene of the crime?
Are you an idiot?

So you’re changing your argument now? How convenient

If disagreeing with nonsensical statements is spamming then so be it.

Hey brother, did you see Nakamoto's 6pm piece tonight? Finally some real investigation where they are exposing these judges, and if I know Chris I think this will then parlay over to the 8 gangs' thing. Like him or not, we need the old Chris to ruffle some feathers and get these idiots uncomfortable and out of their ivory towers. I feel a little momentum with Wbrz finally setting aside the normal agenda and carrying the water a little.

Hopefully you are right about WBRZ. I think they realize exactly how pissed people are right about now and that carrying water for SWB may have long term repercussions for them.

I’m also hearing that it’s being handed over to DEA or ATF. What would that mean?

You’re blindly knighting for BRPD when you have no experiences, knowledge, or anything else to back it up. And you’re doing it over and over and over

Good point! With $50k and growing, even Wbrz it seems knows how to read the room and make in-game adjustments.

I'm knighting for the Rice family. I have a meager opinion of BRPD but I just think that nonsensical rumors like no one has asked to view video camera recordings of the scene should be quickly decried.

OK that plain makes no sense.
The FBI tends to take cases which meet certain criteria such as kidnapping, etc, or have some sort of interstate factor to it.
ATF doesn’t really handle normal crimes as much as gun running or harassing people over what is perceived as circumventing gun laws. (IIRC, the infamous Waco case was over the Davidians supposedly buying kits to convert weapons to full auto)
None of that seems to apply here.

If they have suspects, they likely won’t release info unless a couple of things;
1. Need help getting them identified and/or located
or
2. Don’t want the suspects to know they’re onto them. Want the suspects to feel comfortable. Better chance of recovery of evidence.
When I worked cases, I never broadcast info on a suspect until they were already under arrest or if all other efforts to locate them were unsuccessful.

It’s crystal clear you obviously work as a criminal defense attorney

I wish the OP would update his post to include the fund raising event at The Shed.

There are officers at BRPD that work for the other team. Nothing is impossible.
