The ATF will get involved in murders. Go check their website. There's a couple of homicide cases on their rewards sheet.
This one from Tampa back in 2021:
ATF Investigating homicide in Tampa. Offers reward
quote:

“ATF works closely with our local law enforcement to reduce violent crimes. In collaboration with our local partners and the community it is our hope that we can find the person(s) responsible for this murder,” said Special Agent in Charge Craig W. Saier, Tampa Field Division.

So the FBI, the DEA, the ATF are here, yet no one has thought to ask Bengal glass to look at their surveillance cameras of the scene of the crime?

Maybe they assumed that BRPD was competent enough to have already secured any available surveillance footage???

Maybe the ATF can use some "Patriot act" shite that local cops can't and they can retrieve all cloud based surveillance footage from cameras in the area. I'm probably watching too much NCIS or some shite.

But being that the footage is stored in a cloud with servers located all over the country, a federal agency makes sense in that case.

I do know Ring will turn over footage to police without an owner's permission.

Thanks.

Maybe they could save some time arresting people for possession of marijuana in order to put towards more serious crimes.

Im going to sort through it to see how many possession of marijuana arrest they have, but how are people getting more time in prison for possession of marijuana than people who do harder crimes?

Of course I am not a lawyer and don't under the law enough to know how that can happen, but that just seems... dumb.

So why jump to the less logical of the 2?

I didn’t jump to anything, I said this thread has a weird fascination with it long before the cops said anything when it makes no difference.

It's in everyone's best interest that regular street cops aren't investigating shootings.

Nobody is serving prison time in Baton Rouge for possession of marijuana. That is some liberal bullshite that somehow spread like wildfire.

My guess is they wanted a car in the other side of the train. To head in the direction she was coming from.

I thought the owner of Bengal glass was interviewed several hours after it happened?

Have we discussed the shell casings that surely littered the ground on Gov't, hopefully covered with the killers fingerprints? Or do these fine, churchgoung men wipe the bullets free of prints before loading their guns?

This is from the OP.

quote:

Officers found the scene when they responded to a call for “shots fired” from a nearby shot spotter that picked up 10 rounds fired. Evidence on the scene included multiple shell casings. Plus, her vehicle had several bullet holes.

A teenager shooter would have to have been arrested before to have fingerprints in the system

Yeah, about that…

Cops may not be able to keep them behind bars but we have cycled something like 500+ juvenile arrests this year alone. Chances are they got arrested at some point and fingerprinted.
