It's going to be interesting to see how many people bail on those races, but it won't really be noticed until they go back to full capacity in the stadiums.

A lot of these Confederate statues were erected in the 20th century, well after the Civil War. There was a particularly large spike around the time of the Civil Rights movement as a "frick you" gesture triggered white people. Erecting statues and monuments are about glorification, not history. History is preserved in books and museums.
Having military bases named after traitors is an embarrassment. How about instead of Fort Bragg, they can rename it Fort Beckwith after Charles Beckwith. Google that name and try to tell me that's not more fitting than some loser like Braxton Bragg.
