Cop car is hiding behind a sign at the Mall of Louisiana overpass shooting his radar gun down onto the I-10 and sending other cops on the I-10 instructions to pull baws over.

He's mainly focusing on those traveling east.

Safer and more profitable than tracking down real criminals

The last thing BR needs are cops trying to slow traffic

Artificially low speed limits are awful for public safety and exist primarily to fill the coffers of government.

Does that BS actually hold up in court since the ticketing officer pretty much has to testify that he didn't actually see or record anything and he just got a phone call from his buddy saying a car that looked like yours was speeding two miles back?

Or does Judge Clampett just pretty much say "This is Louisiana. frick you, pay me!"

Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for questioning our fine police force. Y'all act we had 7 people get shot last night in Baton Rouge.

Both would need to be called as a witness, one to testify to the speed violation and one to testify as to identity of the driver. The latter testifying to the former would be inadmissible hearsay.

However, this is Louisiana, so I'm not saying this never happens

Everyone knows shooters are speeders.

Capture them before the crime!

This may be partly my fault. I blew through there this morning at 125 or so. I was like 40 seconds from shitting on myself when I got to the office

It Will be worth it given next week though.

You should be thankful the traffic is light enough to be able to speed. It's a rare enough occurrence.

Thank you for the notice.

For the ticket it would have cost, I can load up on a couple of extra Columbia fishing shirts or might get another YETI

If only there was a program with which you could share this information with other itinerant users of the same program...

I miss the old days when the police didn't show up to testify, the judge had to dismiss the ticket.
