just wish the potus and vp would actually listen to him.
Fauci lost all credibility with the original projections, he's an idiot.
And how haven't they listened to him?

Now you're the one trolling, right?
One simple and obvious example: Trump has repeatedly contradicted Fauci on chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine.
Also, Fauci recommends against injecting lysol and bleach.
You may simply be the dumbest motherfricker to ever post on this board.

Maybe Fauci isn’t a political pawn ( personally think he is) but no matter what he or any other medical professional says, we can’t stay closed forever or “until vaccine”. At some point we have to go back to work and take our chances like we did prior to C19. Which is more deadly, living in a depression or C19. A depression would cause 10xs more death from various causes.

Remember when the entire Earth closed shop when one single research paper by one single outfit, the Imperial College, was touted as gospel truth by the experts advising political leaders the world over?
quote:
Here’s the tricky part: When an epidemiological model is believed and acted on, it can look like it was false. These models are not snapshots of the future. They always describe a range of possibilities—and those possibilities are highly sensitive to our actions. A few days after the U.K. changed its policies, Neil Ferguson, the scientist who led the Imperial College team, testified before Parliament that he expected deaths in the U.K. to top out at about 20,000. The drastically lower number caused shock waves: One former New York Times reporter described it as “a remarkable turn,” and the British tabloid the Daily Mail ran a story about how the scientist had a “patchy” record in modeling. The conservative site The Federalist even declared, “The Scientist Whose Doomsday Pandemic Model Predicted Armageddon Just Walked Back the Apocalyptic Predictions.”
Hurricane models always have the ridiculous outliers that diverge by orders of magnitude and have a storm located 100 miles south of Venice making landfall 7 days later on the coast of North Carolina.
We’ve evacuated the whole state of North Carolina just in case that model was right.

Fauci is a bureaucrat who plans on making plenty of money pushing particular vaccines.

But how many has he killed?
The Economic consequences will certainly have a cost in lives. I haven't heard ANYOONE trying to estimate that so we can have rational decisions.

My question is: Was Doc right back in January, and wrong now? Or vice versa...?
From an interview with NewsMax:
From an interview with NewsMax:
quote:
On Jan. 21 - the day the first COVID-19 case in the U.S. was confirmed - Fauci appeared on conservative Newsmax TV. “Bottom line, we don’t have to worry about this one, right?” asked Greg Kelly, the host.
Fauci said, “Obviously, you need to take it seriously and do the kind of things the (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Department of Homeland Security is doing. But this is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about.”

I think he knows all about the Wuhan Lab.I think he knew what they were developing.
He probably thought it may kill millions.
I don't think he's trying to harm anyone.
I just don't trust him,as I am healthy,at present.

I really don't get why so many people feel compelled to take sides in all this. Fauci is an esteemed physician and has served many presidents well. He is also an academic who hasn't seen a patient in 30 years and doesn't gaf about the economic and social side effects of his quarantines. Does that make him a bad guy? No. But because he bucked Trump a few times early on, the media crowned him as the only voice we should listen to in Covid19, when in reality, he is only one pov on a larger team looking at this thing much more holistically. Now people, especially libs and Karens, think we need to follow this guy through the gates of hell.
He's been wrong af about a ton of things, but everyone was flying blind on this one. Doctors aren't infallable, so let's all learn a lesson from this and stop treating them like they can see the goddam future.

I don't believe he should. His job is to be Trump's expert on infectious disease. He has done well in that, I believe.
Leave economic advice to economic experts.
Leave infectious disease advice to those experts
Trump and his advisors needed to take it all in and work together to put together a plan that opens the economy back up in a way that mitigated the risk of exponential growth every few days that would overwhelm our healthcare system.
They've done that.
I really don't understand the team-playing nonsense we have.

I wish he'd share his facial care regime. Barely a wrinkle. Eyelids taut.
