Alert: The world is not coming to an end

I typically don't check my phone or social media much on weekends anyway, but I stayed in a cabin fishing with some buddies this weekend and forgot my phone at home. Good times, good people, good neighbors in the other cabins. Got back around lunch today and ran a couple of errands. Saw all races in the grocery store and everyone seemed to be getting along. Went for a run in the park and saw all ages and races co-existing in peace. Just got home from my local watering hole having a couple brews. Talked sports with whites, blacks, and Hispanics. Disagreements turned to challenges and laughter.

I get home, finally sit down and catch up on the news, tiger droppings, Facebook, etc and it's amazing I didn't get lynched, beat up, protested against, or have my possessions torched over the weekend. The media and internet trolls are out of control. Going to forget my phone more often. Smile people. The world is a great place outside of these 4" screens.
