The girl reported it to Albertsons store management and bought her cake at another store. Management apologized for their dumbass employee.
This girl sounds okay and not trying to make a big deal out of it.

For the five years I've been back in North Louisiana, the Shreveport newscasts have all started with two or three murders. They'll report on a murder, even if they have to pull up info for one in Monroe, Lafayette, NOLA or out of state.

Private business can do what it wants. End of story. If the community feels that strongly about it, said company will bear the financial burden for their stance. But I doubt that happens here.
