I assume you are on vacation. If the track stays the same, I’d say leave no later than early Monday morning if you don’t want to put up with the weather for a day or 2.

Should get a good update around 7.

Normally I would stay, just have small kids and would rather be comfortable at home. Yes, on vacation. I'll wait for the next few runs of the models and see what it's looking like tomorrow.

Not seeing much activity here -- I'll take that as a good thing? Is this going to end up a no big deal thing that brings rain?

Just want it to do it's thing and move by.

Keep an eye out if you're in Destin, there is some outside potential for it to speed up wind wise (like strong TS) pre landfall.

I think most people lost interest when the TS watches went down in Louisiana.

I’m here in Gulf Breeze bouncing between tropical tidbits, stormcast, and here making sure this thing doesn’t pull some final hour bull run.

Got to get down to the beach today before and after a bigass rainstorm. Got everything we need so that we don't have to go out other than mass in the am. The only thing I worry about is if by any chance electricity went out but other than that, we're good.

I just want it to come and then go with a quickness.

Same here. At our place next to The Back Porch and have everything we need to eat, drink (more than enough booze), and entertain kids. Hoping this rolls in and out as fast as possible.

Looks like it will be a lot quicker than what the models were showing a few days ago.

Quicker is way better for us all! Although I believe the bumper sticker that says a bad day at the beach is better than a good day at work. And I actually like my job.

That’s great to hear. I’m a dummy when it comes to weather and storms. As scary as it sounds... I use this board for my info!

cmatte, I swear for these storms I come here way before the local weather guys on television. My husband thinks I'm nuts -- until he starts needing to know if a storm is coming our way. Then he's a believer!

Stormcastlive.com is a good one for information on storms.

It’s currently down because the went to a new site, had server issues, and are now migrating to a new server to handle the traffic. They are currently using Stormcastforums.com while they work the issue.
