I'm still somewhat suspicious of how they develop this system. The models still struggle with the upper levels and the upper level evolution over the Gulf plays a big role in how they develop this system. It wouldn't be surprising to see it stay sheared and never really develop.

Where is "here" and how far are you from Destin? We're still going ahead with our plans minus one cause her dad is too worried.

And rds I'm so good with this ("It wouldn't be surprising to see it stay sheared and never really develop") if it were to indeed never really develop.

Going to be interesting for me to watch and see how the models got it right or not here. Always get an opportunity to learn something new every storm.

It blows every storm up into a monster. Absolutely not to be believed.

The HMON was throwing up 850 mb pressures on Irma last year, which shatters the world record for lowest pressure. You can use it for some idea on position but yeah, it overdoes intensity a touch.
