Wrong. My wife (no pics) is a nurse that gets updates from the alabama health department daily.
There were 99 there yesterday with 19 on vents.
How many from the same nursing home? I have a good source at a Bham hospital. Yesterday, they had 4 ICU patients with Corona. All from the same nursing home. One is a healthcare worker who is in ICU just because of quarantine, not because of a serious intensive care scenario.

It’s fine. It’s FINE. This will all be over with by Easter. Don’t worry.

All this talk when Winston county is forgotten.
That county has always been and will always be a very strange place. I had a history professor that said whenever he was traveling south, he went around Winston county. It took me a while, but I figured out why he did that.
Walker County tells Winston County "Hold my meth".

frick you. Go by the last number posted. The tweets are right next to each other. Just scroll a bit further next time.
Idiot.
It doesnt make sense to compare the morning number to the evening number if you want to see how much it went up in a day.
And I didnt get it off twitter.

Not trying to shite on you if you're from Walker (I assume Jasper), but it's the shittiest place in North AL. I'm not nearly as familiar with everything south of Jefferson, besides Mobile and Baldwin, but hot damn is Walker an eye opener. Reminds me of the hills and hollers of west NC.

Bama has had a virus since January 3, 2007

Seriously, the area of Walker County near the Tuscaloosa County line, is a whole other world. We are watching "Justified" and I would swear they based that on Walker County. During a kidnapping incident back in the '90's, the FBI agent in charge of the investigation publicly stated that they need to set up a permanent field office in Jasper based on all the unrelated stuff they uncovered.

Born and raised there. Lived elsewhere for the last 21 years. It's a special place. When I got out in the world, I was amazed that people would curse strangers and give them the finger. That guy who just doesn't give a shite? He's the majority there.

I visit Walker Co coal mines on a regular basis. Nothing I see or hear about there surprises me in the last any more. It’s the Florida of Alabama except it has all the weird and messed up traits of a Florida without any of the good stuff.

Nope. They've opened up land there for raw sewage disposal. I see complaints about the smell, on Facebook, all the time.

The number of confirmed cases is a meaningless stat at this point. The growth in that number is all a function of testing and how many results are being reported. The Jefferson County number only went up from 129 to 141. What can we read into that? Absolutely nothing.
The only stats that matter are hospitalizations and deaths.

One thing to keep in mind is they’re only testing people showing symptoms of Wuhan Virus infection.

And unless it has changed, only after a negative flu, strep, and other tests.

Glad you clarified on the North Alabama part. There are areas of the Black Belt that are third world.

Not true. They have been doing drive up tests in AL for a while.
