That piece of shite Reagan wanted to make religious nutjobs the base of the GOP. He needed morons to whom he could sell his voodoo economics and help out the corporate owners of the GOP. So he got people who believe in a magic man in the sky because maybe they are gullible. He created a fake issue to which the could rally the gullible behind. 40 years of brainwashing later and here we are.

Brannigan cried for days after Hillary lost

He didn’t cheer up until his wife’s boyfriend bought him a Nintendo Wii

Oh good, in 18 years we will have even more men filling up prisons and teen mothers on welfare.

fricking bible-clutching conservatives are ruining the best thing the south had going.

He's just retarded. Reeeeeeeeee Reagan. I've seen him post a number of times about a guy that hasn't been in office in 30 years

My question to pro lifers and the ones who want to leave up to the state is do you believe this law will actually stop young women from getting abortions? IMO at the end of the day if you can drive in any direction, cross a state border and receive an abortion then this law is pointless.

But more importantly for those that can’t afford to travel they will either attempt back alley abortions or just have a child that will require government assistance.

I just don’t get it.

And the problem with your argument is that it assumes the programs you mentioned are the only ways to achieve a desirable end.

If you’re depending solely upon personal responsibility then you have no grounds to call anyone’s argument a fallacy.

It's not hard to get. Some people believe that life begins at conception, and if you hold this belief, then abortion is murder. Murder is illegal in this country, therefore abortion should be as well.

Full disclosure: I believe it should be legal. However I understand the reasoning and point of view of those who don't.

I do get the arguments against abortion. I don't get the mindset that the only way to prevent them is to outlaw them. Multiple studies have shown that better sex ed and easier access to contraception and gynecological care all reduce the number of abortions performed.

And like you said, this law will disproportionately impact the poor in this state, but that's par for the course for Alabama.

That’s just such a simplistic view, though.

Outlawing something doesn’t have to eradicate it in order to be justified. You don’t outlaw theft thinking it will erase theft, but to hold those who commit it accountable.

And just bc abortion has utilitarian value doesn’t make it moral.

What about a twin scenario and you had to abort one to save the other?

I'm not a Democrat at all. I just find it funny how so many Conservatives have turned into robots when it comes to these little words ("soy boy", "libtard", "npc", etc.). It is as if you all listen to same exact news source and only talk in echo chambers...

They've unironically become NPCs themselves. And it's usually the least educated of them.

Stupid fricking statements like this is why this country is so divided right now. You can disagree with a point of view without being a smug shitbag about it.

OK bud. If you don't see that this bill is purely political I'm not sure what to tell you. It's about scoring political points with pro-lifers in hopes of taking down Roe. This shite is not about the sanctity of life or whatever platitudes people may want to throw out in its defense.
