It has always been there to some degree. My experience in the early 80s is testament to that. But I think it’s growing more common now due to changing attitudes toward in women. To put it bluntly, women, as a group, are more whorish now than thy were in previous generations. This is one of the consequences of the sexual revolution that started in the 60s and has grown ever since. With each passing generation, a larger and larger proportion of the female population embraces the concept of sex being a purely physical act where your partner is little more than a masturbatory toy to be used then put away when done. Emotion is removed from the equation an it simply becomes a physical act. In essence, more and more women approach sex now in the same manner that men have always done so.

It doesnt need to be said that the behavior is gross...but this shouldnt be a "consent" case. Thats just dumb. 18 year old dude is not a child. She should be fired with lifetime ban teaching in Alabama

I had a summer fling with a 32 year old woman the summer after my freshman year at LSU(I was 18,) it was one of the best and most enjoyable parts of my college education

From what I'm gathering, in Alabama it doesn't matter if you teach kindergarten at a school 100 miles away. If a teacher sleeps with a student under 19 in the state of Alabama, they're going to jail. In Louisiana, if you are 17 and sleep with a teacher at a different school than yours, all is good.

She not that far from me. Surely I coulda done better than a 16yo baw, and she coulda kept her job. It would have been a win-win.
