Or read page 2 of this thread like I said
Are you referring to the prison employee thing?
That's a policy that can be changed. You could subject the iman to a background check. Which would take time. Delay the execution by a week or two to conduct the background check.
Or, hire an iman as an employee. I'm sure there are multiple Muslim individuals in the state prison system.
What else you got?

The chaplain was a prison employee, trained to be in the execution chamber. All others remained in the witness room, for safety reasons.
A prisoner was never able to have his personal spiritual adviser in the execution chamber, no matter the religion. Ray wanted a special accommodation that no other prisoner received, ever.
This was manufactured to try and stay his execution, nothing more. And which is why SCOTUS ruled the way they did.

It's unreasonable take on an employee for a one-off hail Mary. With that precedent, they'd have to hire a Rabbi, Buddhist priest, shaman, satanic monk, scientology leader, spaghetti monster historian, and whatever else someone asked for to delay the inevitable.
There's a reason they only have a chaplain on staff in Alabama.

If they allow a priest in, it's messed up they didn't allow an Imam in, it really is that simple.

The piece of crap was a diaper head Muslim murderer. Who cares?

Well then that issue solved itself for me.

They allow a Christian chaplain there for Christian's and wont allow an imam for muslims. That's a bit of a problem. Islam is just as real as Christianity.

Wrong. Islam was started by a warlord who used it to conquer the peninsula.

everything is good about that statement.

The poster above says they don’t no matter the religion

Did his victim have his preffered religious cleric on hand at the scene of the crime?

I guess this paves the way for liberals to scream to take church out of prisons...

frick that rapist piece of shite.
He got what he deserved. The only injustice is that it took them 20 years to make it happen.

Ray had argued Alabama’s execution procedure favors Christian inmates because a Christian chaplain employed by the prison typically remains in the execution chamber during a lethal injection, but the state would not let his imam be there in the room.
