Why would people that are sick with covid beg for the vaccine? Do they think the vaccine sends you back in time before you got covid and prevents it from happening? Are Americans this stupid or are Americans stupid enough to think we believe this story.

They are the doctors taking care of the admitted patients in the hospital. Used to be that the doc you saw in clinic would also admit and take care of you in the hospital but now there is a branch that only does hospital work.

You don't seem like you are done being concerned about it (or judging people either). If you needed surgery and the doctor said 99% of people who have the operation have a short recovery time and then are fine, would you tell your family that having the surgery is like having a death wish or would you say that rarely are there any major issues when people have the surgery.
We know who this virus affects the most - the elderly and those with multuple pre-existing conditions. We want them to be ok, but everyone is responsible for taking precautions against catching it and getting seriously ill or worse if they are in the most at-risk category. As it stands now, around 10% of COVID deaths right now occuring in the state of Louisiana are those who were fully-vaccinated. That is about 4x higher than I thought that number would be, but those are official statistics from the state.

Suit yourself. If you die, so be it. At this time, I am done with folks who don't want to be vaccinated. We are over populated anyway, so it will all end up good!

Good, we agree in a way. It's a free country and we all have decisions to make about personal responsibility.
40% of all deaths each year in the US were found to be preventable, yet people continue to smoke until they die of cancer, people continue to eat until they are morbidly obese and have strokes/heart attacks, people continue to drink too much alcohol/do drugs until the toll on their body ultimately becomes too much, etc. I'm not judging them or trying to force them to stop. The best we can do as a free nation is to try to truthfully educate people on potential health problems for them to change their lifestyles/take precaution to protect themselves and leave it up to them to decide.
Just remember though, if someone in your family becomes 1 of the near-10% of the fully-vaccinated that still die from COVID, remember to remind everyone in your family that the world was overpopulated anyway and that it's a good thing.

Have at it. I have had COVID and have the antibodies. As of now, I see no need to be vaccinated. It is sad to see how quickly people become fear whores. You do you though.
