I'd keep smoking legal on the beach, but issue a $1,000 littering fine for every butt that's not properly disposed. And, of course, don't have any disposal cans available.

Well this sucks. I gotta have a cigarette when I’m drinking a beer. I always put the cigarette butts in a water bottle or an empty beer can. I guess other people can’t do the same

Don't be such a square. The wind is blowing. If smelling a cigarette or hearing someone else's music really ruins your time at the beach you need to take a look in the mirror. Or pay more to rent a place with a private beach.
