Idiotic morons like al think in their head "if we can get this entire community to boycott and stop shopping, it will cripple the economy. People will realize what force and weight we carry as a group. Eventually they'll be so hurting for our business they'll do anything to have us back".
But in the real world...first of all nobody is going to actually boycott anything. If you really want to patronize somehwere, you're going to do it anyway despite someone you've never met telling you not to. Second, even if some people do listen and boycott, nothing is going to change. No company is going to go out of business because a few less people shop there.
It's moronic and incredibly short sighted, but it keeps his name in the headlines which is all he really wants anyway. Al and Jesse being champions of the black cause is the biggest farce going today.
