On all flights. Is this just a way for them to get out of providing free snacks? Link

This will continue and be a new way to charge a fee just like the headsets (which were free at one time). "We do have masks available for $2.00 if you do not have your own."

When I flew last week almost everyone was wearing a mask. And no snacks or drinks were served.

Snacks and beverages are replaced by free sanitary wipes on Southwest. Enjoy the new world. They better let us bring on our own booze.

“I have asthma and struggle to breathe through a mask”

If they still make you wear one just say. “If I pass out, a lawsuit will be coming”

Problem solved

I think all you hard assess are just going to have to suck it up and buy a mask.

Better get used to it. It's going to be this way going forward for a while. First off, I wouldn't get on an airplane right now. Secondly, I would absolutely be wearing a mask.

I've been opposed to masks everywhere else, but I'll wear one on a plane. No issue with it.

Masks are incredibly uncomfortable and inconvenient. Places and businesses will see a significant downtick in patrons as long as masks are mandatory. Right now no one is on planes except people who absolutely have to be so they’ll suck it up.

Once things calm down to where discretionary air travel is back in play though, if airlines keep this rule I think you’ll see a lot of people weigh the pros and cons and decide it’s not worth it. Wearing a mask for 3-4 hours? That’s miserable

Do emotional support dogs have to wear them? Those canine bastards can get covid, too.

You'd have to be pretty stupid or really desperate to either hop on an airplane or think a mask is going to do jack shite, if you believe all of these precautions are warranted in the first place.

With all these government mandates, I just assume it's forever until proven otherwise.

You think people aren't going to take a flight from NY to California, Florida, or anywhere because they have to wear a mask? They are just going to start up their cars and drive, huh?

I think the airlines make it mandatory and keep it so. and people will want to fly, so they'll have to abide. Doubt you're gonna drive to Vegas in lieu of flying if all you have to do is wear a mask.
