Disembarking airplanes seems to be one of those things that people bitch about that probably aren't really huge deals.
Usually they're cleared within 10 minutes so any delay is, what, 1 or 2 minutes max?

It's because they move very slowly. I can grab my carry on from the overhead bin and walk forward in one motion. I don't need to stop at all. I don't waste time putting the luggage down, pulling the handle, and then moving. I wait until I am deplaned before I even put down the luggage to pull up the handle and roll it. That is being considerate. Every one else is an a-hole.

Really makes me mad!! When they are fiddling with crap in the overhead and the aisle is clear all the way off the plane.

Exactly. The people who gently get it out, barely put it down and then have the damn nerve to open it up and make sure everything is still in there, like someone stole something, infuriate me.

The best way to avoid these fuqtards is to just plan to de-plane last (or toward the end). Read an extra page or seven in your book, listen to some music, make a phone call, read/answer some texts, etc while all the cattle shuffle off. Once the herd moves on, grab your gear at a leisurely pace then de-plane with no problems.
Seriously, it adds maybe 5-10 minutes. Enjoy them instead of getting pissy.

IMO the worst people on planes are the fricks that put their carry on baggage in overhead compartments that are 20-30 rows further up from where they are sitting.

I find the folks who are barging from the back to the front as soon as we're at the gate to be far worse. It's particularly bad in Atlanta, and I highly doubt many of these people are trying to make a close connection.

yeah, they annoy me but everything about air travel annoys me.
Its especially bad in the summer with families and what not. If parents need extra time to get on the plane, they should realize that its rude to take that extra time to get off the plane.
