After a good run, my work finally blocked Tigerdroppings.com

After many years it has now been blocked this morning. I guess they noticed how much time I was spending on it. IT departments are the worst. #FIT

Great thing about living in a different state - no one here knows what the hell TD is and have no reason to look into it.

That sucks. TD was never blocked by the DoD which I thought was weird. Every other forum/message board was banned.

TD gets blocks on rare occasions at my work. Falls under the filter of "inappropriate" or "tasteless".

I have been waiting for this day at my company for years, but they still haven't blocked Reddit and we have thousands of employees so I doubt TD would ever go before that.

Just access it from your phone.
TD isn't blocked at my work...however I never access it from a work computer...always my phone.
Since I live in another state where this site isn't popular I once thought it was harmless accessing it from my work computer. Until the day a new resident was in the nurse's station and saw TD on my computer and commented "Oh I love that site! I'm from Louisiana and read that site all the time, they have some crazy people that post on there."

Thankfully for the staff employees whose job description probably says "surf the internet for 2 hours per day," the controller and I both frequent here so TD is here to stay.

I had no success trying to get on multiple message boards last week in an attempt to figure out how to fix an appliance at my home. So I got on TD and looked at several NSFW threads with no issue. IT at my company appears to have their priorities straight.

I always thought the OT should be user only. A lot of stuff gets posted here and who knows who is reading it.
A lot of boards restrict access to certain sub forums.
