Does every walmart, sams, Whole Foods, HEB, etc, get their chickens from the same farm?
In other words, does a wal mart in San Francisco and a wal mart in Miami and Boston get their chickens from the same farm as the wal mart in Seattle or Minnesota?
No, quality will vary across the board and that goes for all types of meat for all grocery stores.

Favorite doesn't equal best. Starbucks is "America's favorite" coffee.

Also, Sanderson Farms probably sells their chickens to several grocery stores, restaurants, catering companies, distributors, all competitors

From the same crowd that calls anyone driving a BMW 5-Series a "poor" because it's not an M5.
ETA: not calling you out specifically, geauxtigers87, just a general mentality of the OT.
Nothing is overpriced if you'll find someone to pay what your asking.

Besides your dad telling you this tidbit, do you have any actual knowledge of the beef or poultry industry?
Your statements on the first few pages are very broad. You say all meat, fish, and chicken is the exact same at both stores.

I've got nothing to add other than to say my local mom and pop grocery story started carrying prime beef within the last year. The only way they're inferior to WF is the scenery...
ETA pretty sure this isn't even Whole Foods, but you get through point.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

my wife works for a direct competitor that offers a lot of the same stuff for about 1/2 the price - wont step foot in Whole foods for anything again.

I don't think WF is overpriced. I think you get what you pay for.
Better facilities, higher quality clientele, and arguably higher quality products compared to your average store. I'm happy to spend a little extra for that.
What has the OT become? We went from "my butler goes to organic farms to get my ingredients for my chef to cook" to "Whole Foods is a bit pricey for my taste".

Lol ok hot shite. You said I need to get out more and experience more grocery stores. I'm sorry if I only grocery shop near my home. Next time I go to the other side of houston for something, I'll make sure to stop at one of the HEBs in the older areas of town.

I go out to the one in Canton actually. We have friends in Dedham so we usually visit them, grab our groceries, and get our beer from trillium before heading home. And our trip to Trillium usually takes a couple hours.

Rouses gonna flood Baton Rouge market with better stores. Way better. Whole pay check is good for a few things, not an entire grocery list. It's retarded how much people pay to have white cashiers.

If you shop only at whole foods, youre wasting a lot of money on groceries
Posted on 2/8/17 at 8:55 pm to rocket31
So whole foods get their chicken from Sanderson's farms?
Posted on 2/8/17 at 8:56 pm to Thracken13
Half price huh? Got many examples of this?

They need breweries in them like the one in Houston

I like sprouts better

It's just odd that you live in Houston and have never seen one of the older HEBs. You don't need to go in the store to see it's different, you can tell from the outside it's smaller and older and not as nice as all the new ones they've built.
