This case was genuinely so shite I am in disbelief a lawyer actually agrees to take it on.

Well in a place I never thought it would go I got to watch Afroman's lawyer reference WAP and they lyrics in a courtroom to help win a case. So I can mark that on my "shite I never thought would happen" list of reasons we are in a simulation.

Did he ever get sued after punching that girl in the face?

He did wound up paying her 65K and pleaded guilty to simple assault.

I don’t get the sense that Afroman is exactly rich but with the attention these dipshit officers put in his case he’s going to be just off streaming revenue alone.

Yeah, those police are soft.

But does anyone think Afroman is the Jimmy Buffet of hip hop?

Do they get to keep the money they stole, like usual?

Holy shite this is hilarious. He made songs about fricking their wives, making fun of a big cop they called poundcake, and another song about a female cop involved. I just came upon this shite today but it’s pure comedy. frick those cops. They turned his surveillance cameras off and stole money, and then tried to sue him for making songs about them. To hell with those pigs.

It isn't that he's "rich", but that he tours a lot and can make money when he wants and needs it. He doesn't seem to live beyond his means, and most importantly......he never gave his "baby's momma" the combination to the safe....well, until those crooked arse cops threatened to tear the safe out of the floor and haul it off. He broke down and gave her the combination then, and he seems more pissed about having to do that than just about anything else.

Good for Afroman.

Afroman always sounded like he was having fun making music as opposed to the cultcha of misery/hate/violence from rappers.

Colt 45 and two zig zags.... where the frick was his weed?

He doesn't seem to take any of it seriously, which has kept him away from a lot of the nonsense. You're right, it seems like he's having fun. Even the songs he put out about the police were just fun. There is nothing overproduced about them, and they aren't even "good" in a musical sense. He knows that, it is all tongue-in-cheek.

Lemon Pound Cake and the Hymn song are both bangers. Adding them to my golf playlist.
