Affordable Healthcare???

Looking for options for affordable Healthcare for a family of 4. My premiums for a high deductible plan have tripled in last 2 years. Self employed so don't have benefit of a group plan. Looking for help!!!!!!!

We just dropped to the blue plan for blue cross.
There was another one from humana but the deductibles were crazy high.

Visit the ER waiting room any day of the week and see for yourself.

I have a feeling that you wouldn't want to be in that kind of company, though.

start getting paid in mostly cash. claim whatever amount gives you the most premium credits.

I never go to ER. So I guess that's not a serious option.

I've been shopping around as well, and I think that it may be more cost effective to go with a Silver or Gold plan- more money out of pocket every month, but much lower deductibles and co-pays. Our family I believe would save money over the course of a year

How many employees do you need to be considered a group?

And do they have to particpate?

And is there a % the employer has to pay?
