Advice requested- dog (Bassett hound mix) won’t stop shitting and pissing on porch

I mean, it’s not inside so that’s a plus. But I’m constantly spraying off her pee so our porch doesn’t begin to smell like it. It can get especially bad in this heat.
I mention she’s a Bassett because apparently they are stubborn and obviously have a strong nose, so I’m wondering if her territory is marked and the porch is simply her new spot.
For reference she’s about 11 months old, so hoping this can be fixed. Anyone else experienced this? I’m at a loss. Soap, vinegar, nothing has worked. And now she’s shitting on the porch.
I try to walk her to the yard and that occasionally works but I have to basically coerce her to the other side of the yard while she continually tries to walk over to our porch.
Anyone else had this happen? TIA

Take charge and show the mutt (literally) where to do it.
Cue it "this is how we do it"

Put a remote collar on her. Wait until she's just about to piss, shock her. Wont take but two or three times and she'll move away from it permanently.

I’ll be watching this. My rat terrier walks right outside and pisses on our deck. About 2-10 feet from our door.

Mow your grass. She can’t see where she’s going.

Haven’t thought of that. My wife might push back on that idea but sounds like possibly my best solution. I’ve tried everything on google.

This! It’s done wonders for training my wife.

That’s exactly about how far she goes. I don’t understand the draw.

Shock color works great. You can also warn the dog by giving it a beep before you actually shock it.

That may be the selling point with the wife

Tell your wife if she objects to this then she has to clean the porch..Seriously explain to her this is how you have to train a stubborn dog.

You have to make her know that the yard is where she has to do her business.
Where does she sleep? I have always put my dogs in a kennel for the first month or so.. At night.. When I wake up, the first thing I do is bring them outside in the grass. They usually have to use it right away in the morning and eventually they start associating doing their business out in the yard.
