Advice for anyone who has an intentionally loud AF muffler on your vehicle

I’m the way home last night for a few miles I was stuck next to this little Honda with one of those loud mufflers and an absurdly oversized tailpipes. I can’t see how you would want a vehicle that sounds like a really loud weed eater. Do they think it sounds cool? How does it not get on their nerves?
