How did this become a story if it wasn't even reported to the police? I mean I know the police doesn't have to be called for it to be a story, but it would add some credit to the story if there was a police report.

I'm with a poster earlier in this thread, she was probably trying to score some coke and said some dumb shite which got her arse kicked. The bouncer probably sees that shite all the time but hes been directed not to involve himself in drug transactions.

Googling the location, I would probably refer to the neighborhood as Hell’s Kitchen, not Midtown. Proximity of the bar to the Port Authority bus stop makes her story semi-plausibly. That’s a shady area. Which also makes the drug angle plausible as well.

Hell’s Kitchen is in midtown, baw. Midtown is generally referred to any area between the East River and Hudson River from Chelsea and Gramercy Park up to 59th.
That said, the rest of what you said about that general area is correct. Port Authority that time of night is sketchy AF.
