I know the news had reported that originally there were 10 injured and two were in critical condition. Obviously we've lost one of the young ladies apparently from Ascension Episcopal. Do you know the other that is in critical condition? Is that also a student? From Ascension Episcopal?

I agree, but its such a glaring #1 problem. How many people are going to leave the city or state because of this? How many retailers? How many jobs? Its not 0, I can guarantee that.

Jeff and his crew read this board.. that much I promise you. He saw all the stuff we said after the LSU tailgate shootings this football season and they came down hard for the TAM game. He has a chance here to do some good and come down hard on local BR crime. Maybe he will who knows. Knowing him though I am leaning toward doubtful he helps at all.

One of the few good things he has done is Troop NOLA. Our damn state capital with the flagship university should be the safest city in the state. I hate exploiting tragedies for political gain, but if this could be the damn wake up call to get BR crime under control then at least it’ll be one bright thing to come from the darkness.

Where are they going to go? Lawlessness abounds everywhere. I sure af haven't gone to a mall in years, or anywhere else yutes congregate.

Omg. Im am so sorry. I only have a connection to the school because one of my daughter's best friend and her boyfriend graduated last year from AE. I know another kid had a grazing wound. He is at the hospital now too.

Mountain Brook, AL has similar proximity to Birmingham’s culcha as BR and its Villages Mixed Use district infinitely nicer than the Mall of LA.

The Mountain Brook shopping district is more akin to Towne Center.

Baton Rouge can’t let this go. The residents on this board must Rally.
Y’all can’t be quiet anymore.
Not only for my selfish reason (my child lives there) but also its time.
Long over due. What will be the first step. Figure it out

Exactly right. Once people actually wise up and quit catering to those who whine about their feelings and respek, things might actually change. That pendulum will swing the other way one day and when it does…

Prayers to the families of those affected by cowardly pussies.
