A coworkers niece who just graduated college last May teaches at that school. I told her to tell her to jump out the window(first floor classroom) and tell her students later. They don't pay enough to put up with this shite and protect students. Her parents are telling her to quit today.

Not sure about Texas, but in AL you can't buy a pistol or get a CC permit until you're 21.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he didn't buy his firearm at his local gun shop.

They are all kinds of theories being bandied about on social media. Some people say this video doesn’t even depict the two kids involved.
Other people are saying it’s an old video of the two kids involved. And some people are saying the shooter got robbed by the aggressor in the video at some point.
One thing is certain. There are tons of people on social media tripping over themselves trying to justify the shooter’s actions.
By the way, I’m using the term “kids” loosely. I understand that an 18 year old is a adult.

I don’t understand the mentality today….back in the day kids had rifle racks in trucks with rifles in them, and yet still if you were mad at someone you met someplace (Sonic is a good place) and used your fists….now days it’s shoot’em…

Poor wording by the media outlet. It is baffling Simpkins was not charged with 4 counts of attempted first-degree murder, since it sounds like this was a targeted hit. Add the firearm enhancement, after the fact, after the more egregious charges are filed.
