Above the ground pool should be fine for you. Just put it beside Your brothers camper.

Like smoking.

Not everyone who smokes is trashy but a large number of trashy people smoke.

If you are a trashy pool owner it’s a good chance your pool is above ground.

Seems fine to me. Plenty of folks have above ground. A friend had a really nice one with a deck built around it. If I wanted a pool, it’s what I’d get. If you want it, do it, and enjoy!

If it's the $299 version sold at Walmart, and you just throw it up and leave it... yes it's trashy

If you do a partial sunken, or leave fully above ground, have it professionally installed and set up, and have some kind of deck around it, or at least a rock/stone base around the sides... then no.

Metrosexuals and women. They judge themselves by the opinions of others.

Its an embarrassment that white dudes are so wrapped up in what their peers think of them.

If your neighborhood permits them, enjoy your pool and screw what anyone thinks. You'll save 50 grand.

Shiiiiid, try starting in the 300's baw. They're not building or selling as fast right now with the interest rates either.

If finished out with a nice deck setup they're fine. Hell, I've seen some in ground pools that are trashier.

I bought a house that had one of these. Nothing but headache.

Turns out they didn’t do the drainage right and runoff from gutters and rain in general undermined under the pool and the pool “failed” a little over a year after I bought it.

Then it turns out they hadn’t put the pool up right in the first place and it wasn’t a true circle, so the hole in the deck they built around it wasn’t round.

Which meant I couldn’t just fix the drainage issues and install a new pool.

In a fit of rage, I tore it all out, remodeled the deck, and put in a fire pit. One of the best decisions I’ve made since buying the house.

A fluffer? You think “metrosexuals” (I’m still laughing that you use that term in a non-ironic way) are porn assistants? Moreover, why do you think I’m a metrosexual?

I’m more of a man than you are, and I think that really bothers you.

Same situation here, don't give a shite no one sees it. Got an 18x33 big arse oval pool for 13k. Will build a deck around it and a space to put my grill and all that.

If I'm trashy I don't care, my arse will be floating in it as soon as it's warm enough.

To me, it's better than half the people that have in ground pools. Hey bring the kids over we have a pool. Get there and it's a nice in ground pool that's about 6x10

My neighborhood has a little clubhouse with Olympic sized pool, tennis courts, etc. But I am thinking about putting up a cheap above ground pool just so I can cool off with a beer in my own backyard and also can skinny dip with the wife at night.
