Pay someone to tape the trim and go get drunk.

Wake up the next morning and start painting.

The more time you spend prepping, the easier the painting will be and better it will look

Take your time taping. Don’t rush through it. Inspect after your done and touch up where necessary.

Nothing to it really.

Don't be cheap with the paint. Since its you first time use a seperate primer and 2 coats of paint. If the room gets a lot of natural light, you should do 2 primer coats and 2 coats of paint.

Also, to balance out the paint high, you should have 1 beer for every 15 minutes of painting.

Dip your brush and roller into the paint and spread it all over the wall.

I'd watch some youtube. It's not that difficult if you have a steady hand.

Do not tape, it looks like shite.

Get a good brush, then cut in the trim yourself.

Use really good paint, I am sure there is discussion among what brand is best, but I have used Sherwin Williams, Devoe, and Benjamin Moore
