fricking pathetic. This shouldn’t be a fireable offense. This should be an imprisonable and/or death penalty offense. They as good as killed the kids standing out there cowering for over an hour.

There’s a reason no one wants him to run for President. He won’t stand up for anything unless DeSantis bullies him into it. If this happened in his state, there would be heads rolling. The very first act DeSantis did in office was fire Scott Israel, who is largely responsible for the Parkland shooting and also oversaw another mass shooting at the airport a few years before. I’m guessing this is exactly how that meeting went between DeSantis and scumbag Scott Israel:

He said during press conference that police would investigate and get to the bottom of what happened etc.
translation, the police are going to investigate themselves and let us know if they did anything wrong.
