Histrionics aside. I'm genuinely curious on how you would effectively hold the strait open beyond bribing them with a 300bn bailout fund.

Amazing it was open for almost all of history until earlier this year.

Maybe leave and admit it was a wrong move.

And yeah, you will probably have to give them a lot of money as an apology.

Considering all the factors, it's not easy. Even if oil skyrocketed and each shipment was worth more, the insurance would still be insane b/c a lost vessel would be a huge loss. The insurance calculation would scale with the oil price, I'd imagine.

This opening and closing is getting so tiresome. If only Obama, Hillary, Kamala, or Biden were president this would never have happened

Definitley. They would be ahipping pallets of cash to the IRGC instead of blasting them.

You would celebrate that as well

frick insurance. No one is bidding on those cargos. India just came up dry and abandoned oil because they didnt draw a single bid on their tenders.

Unless we glass the entire area there will never be an end

It’s literally burning money

Trump has done some good things but this move is impossible to defend

Yeah boots on the ground would likely be the only way to get the IRGC out.

Not enjoying this at all. Nobody sensible thought this offensive was a good idea from the start and we've all paid for it. We started this offensive to prevent something he claimed to have taken care of already....

Hopefully more and more people will start to realize/accept how full of shite he is and everything he does is for self preservation.

I was a registered Republican up until maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but I didn't go Democrat. Both parties need to do a hard reset IMO.
