Has a foundation in OKC that supports Kids Korral. It’s a comfortable place for kids and family to stay when a child is receiving cancer treatment.

I made a donation as a way to honor his life and support the (seemingly) worthwhile organization.

Huh? I just read a post and whatever pops in my head I post. You’re getting the real me. I am quite cynical. That against the rules or something? Thought the OT lounge didn’t have that many rules.

We're all just here temporarily. No disrespect to Toby Keith, I like his music. But I've lost enough people close to me that I can't any longer get worked up over someone I don't know.

One of the best nights of my life was at his concert in Nola circa 2004. I was with my favorite people, the booze was flowing, the vibes were elite. Screamed boot up their arse so loud I lost my voice for a few days. RIP, cowboy.

Carrie Underwood deserves a spot here. Yeah she started in '05 but her accomplishments speak for themselves. Aside from Swift, she's the highest selling female artist of this century and the reigning Queen of Country and is already on her way to being an all-timer. (28 #'1's)

Also, all but 3 names on my list are Okies.

How the frick did I leave AJ off of that list? My bad.

I'm not sure you know how a Mount Rushmore list works.

Love me some Toby Keith. Last year we did a Red Solo Cup themed entry at the flotilla on the 4th of July.

“I Wanna Talk About Me”

This one drew my daughter in a couple of years ago on a road trip. Never been at the top of my playlist, but it got her listening to Toby so it is a sentimental favorite. Meanwhile, We Were In Love and Should Have Been A Cowboy — I will sing along every time.

Toby Keith was the definition of authentic. Not many that are like that anymore.
Weed With Willie is a gem!
