Remember when Banned from Television advertised non-stop during Stern and the big hook was a super grainy video of lady on a train track about to be hit? And it was this big, secret knowledge thing that wasn't really part of accepted society?

And today people post high def videos up close of people getting killed and it's NDB.

One of the most fascinating societal shifts I've seen in my time on the internet.

In the US, the railroad cops arrive ahead of time and move everybody back.

fcc doesn't regulate the internet. People have always been into watching crazy shite like that. You should listen to Dan Carlin's Hardcore History episode called Painfotainment.

Yeah, those selfies are so worth it in the long run.

I wish a selective train would come through and pick off these tools at concerts holding their cell phones above their heads.

I wonder if this broke her neck or acted as the world's largest cattle gun...or both.

a few years ago when the old lady and I moved to TX we’d go “exploring” just to get familiar with the area, we’d just pick a different direction each day and start driving, one day we were driving along this rural highway, paralleled by a RR track, and at every crossing it was lined with people, I finally stopped and asked what was going on, apparently the “Katy Flyer” was coming through on her last scheduled trip, didn’t see any sort of cops or RR people, we watched it come through, no one got hurt, csn

When she was propelled forward after being hit and lying on the ground after being moved away from the tracks by the guy, I never saw any sign of blood coming from her head so it seemed like a concussive trauma more so than an open wound.

An open head wound should have bled pretty profusely----especially with her head being lower than her body at the time.

Mom, 29, who died in front of her young son in horrific accident when she stood too close to the tracks for a selfie as a vintage steam train roared past

Just prior to the woman being struck, a voice can be heard warning people to stay far away from the train.

The authorities have reminded residents that they should stand at least 33 feet from the tracks and should never try to climb on any railway equipment or infrastructure for better views.

Tributes have been paid to the mum-of-one.

Angel Salvador wrote after the tragedy on Facebook, referring to Dulce by her full name: 'Rest in peace Dulce Alondra García Hernandez.

'I'm going to miss you my friend.'

Close friend Patty Gar, who shared details of her wake and the funeral arrangements, wrote: 'Life is fragile and at times it's taken away from us in an instant. I will miss you forever my friend.'

If there's any solace in what happened, at least it looked like she died instantly. Probably didn't even feel it. Very sad.
