Surprised by the responses in this thread. I’d be pissed if my neighbors moved in a couple of homeless people next door. And I don’t live in a million plus neighborhood (OT poor). Why don’t these two folks get jobs and get their own place to live?
I mean I support helping people out, volunteer a little of my time, and financially support a couple of agencies that offer assistance. But I don’t want vagrants moving in next door. Call me crazy I guess.

You’re not crazy. All these virtue signaling asshats responding how cool this is should move a couple of homeless people into their own place. Let’s revisit them and this story in six months and see how things are going.

Yes IMO. If he wants to be “nice”, he should go be nice at a shelter. Or he can sell his home and donate the proceeds to an advocacy group. His lack of regard for his neighbors is disgusting. He’s an attention whore or he’s pissed at his neighbors and is doing this just to spite them.

Yeah, I am also surprised. I thought for sure people on this board would be siding with the neighbors who are complaining about this guy turning his home into a homeless shelter.

A) it’s funny to see people get a stick up their arse about stuff. This board didn’t side with permit Patty a year back.
B) the board is a bit less racist than most people assume.
C) the board is also pretty libertarian. Let the man do what wants.
