grocery shopping is all about value of time vs money. if you got time you can search for and find best deals by shopping around. if not, stick to one store and pay the piper

Bro, I just go in, buy the shite I need and leave. I'm not trying to get into a relationship with the grocery store. I think you are taking this a bit too seriously.

Any of those stores listed have anything you need.

Albertson's is expensive?

Shop there all the time for the deals offered.

Yep, realized the same thing when I left Florida. Baton Rouge is NOT the land of Publix. Wal Mart Neighborhood Market blows.

I shop Albertsons. I don’t find it to be that much more expensive. I pray for the day when we get a Rouses though

No Brookshires? Haven’t lived near one in 20 years, but they were always clean and staffed well. Prices were maybe a little higher, but their sales were predictable.

I’d go crazy without a Rouses

Not sure how people live in places without them

One thing the northern states have that blows southern states out of the water with is grocery stores - go to a Wegman's and you'll agree. HyVee is very good as well. HEB in Texas is about as good as it gets for the south.

I’ve become very spoiled between a nearby Whole Foods and Eataly. Not sure I could move away to a place with only Albertsons-esque grocery stores as an option.

My Uncle moved from Houston to Atlanta maybe 15 years ago and would right a letter to HEB corporate every month begging them to move an HEB to Atlanta
