I assume most rental cars would have gps so they could be tracked down if people don't bring them back. Cops should know where the car is by now ...

I know Mike too & still keep in touch with him somewhat (we txt every now and again because we're both runners). At first I thought he might be manic and just ran off after an argument with his wife or something like that. Now after reading about the Walmart gift cards at 4am, I really don't expect this to end well.
One mystery to me is, he was driving a brand new 2017 Hyundai rental car. Don't all new cars have something like Onstar which would allow Hyundai to track them? I know GM gives you the service for the first year. I would assume Hyundai does the same.
In any case, prayers for his family, this is awful.

I worked for ERAC for 13 years... No tracking devices . Invasion of customer privacy. Even cars with on star have to go through an exhausting process to even activate it. Crock of crap !!
