A filled-in index card is the only record of vaccination?

Am I to understand that there is no actual database being kept?

A database would violate HIPAA laws, wouldn't it?

Pretty sure there's a database at the location where you get vaccinated. The lady who gave me the shot, entered something into the computer.

All I have is the index card. They told me to laminate it after my 2nd shot.

The nurse pulled up a profile on the computer and from what I saw, had my whole vaccination record and she punched in some new info.

I'm sure google and apple have their own database of who has been vaccinated. Your phone knows everything.

My point exactly. I have no intention of getting it.

Which brings me back to my initial question.

Thought about doing this too, but then if you're required to get a booster, would they be using the same card to record that? No idea.

You want them to hand you a database?

No, other than in your medical records with your doctors.

I never even get a card when I get my flu vaccine every year.

The best thing I think, is to research the requirements of international travel, the certification some countries require, and insist on that from your physician. You have to be able to credibly prove you have had the vaccine to someone who has the power to make your life difficult. IF you are so inclined.

Also - there is an Orwellian downside to The State compiling a central database on citizens that confers or denies God-given rights based on that database, right?

No..I see the writing on the wall with international travel and many other freedoms they intend to curtail.

Sometimes, sometimes they give you a second card recording booster.
