98 children have died in 25 mass school shootings since 1999. That's less than 5 of the 51,000,000 children in school each year. The chance that your child, or anyone they know will die in this manner is statistically zero.
More kids die EVERY DAY from cellphone use while driving than die in a year from mass school shootings, on average.

~275 peopled died as a result of school shootings in the 90’s alone. Most after the “assault weapons ban” was enacted.
