One of my wife's friends is really big. She was over for dinner one night and broke one of our kitchen chairs. The chair didn't collapse but the bottom of the seat os completely broken. She didn't say anything about it because she was probably embarrassed. I didn't notice until the next day.

I got an estimate back on how much it will cost to fix it. $250. So my question is, do I send her the bill?

This is the price you pay for having fat friends.

Is your wife plus sized too? Fatties tend to flock together.

I think its all the extra gravity.

I think I'm just going to pay for it and never mention it again. I don't want to hurt her feelings.

Next time she comes over, have some monstrous chair she has to sit in. I'm talking welded, reinforced steel.

Maybe have some flashing lights and caution tape.

A back up alarm.

She'll get the point

If you want a divorce, send the fatty a nice bill. If you want to keep your wife, I'd suggest something more subtle

You shouldn't fat shame people, regardless of the situation. Like most obese people, she probably has a condition of some sort that makes losing weight hard/impossible. It isn't her fault.

While the alternative is certainly funny, this is the only option.

No one made her sit in the chair. She made that choice on her own. You break, you buy.

Sending her a bill would break her heart, bro. Just wear the $250, even though it sucks.

And what the hell type of chairs do you have that a repair costs $250? I could replace every chair in my apartment for that
