I don't know, the 4-piece with a side, a biscuit and a drink at Popeyes for $7.99 is tough to beat. And if you get the white meat, you get that gigantic breast (though their wings seem to get smaller and smaller).
As for Canes, the plain chicken goes really good with the sauce. Obviously, many people agree. Without the sauce, I don't think they would have blew up like they did. They seem a little overpriced, but I have never had Canes f up my order and have always gotten hot food and friendly customer service. That's a winning combination.

You used to be able to get a free box with a basketball ticket if we scored 70+ points. We would take up the tickets after the game and head to canes.

I noticed this. Burger King, Mc Donald's are both the same price. But they did have cheap options.

that's the one we eat at as I only go when my kids want it and they're Skippers. It's delicious. Maybe overdue for a grease change when you went.
