I’m a huge guns rights supporter. I own an AR15 and other guns and don’t want any more restrictions on firearms, but that’s fricking retarded. I fricking hate these open carry morons.

This is going to be the hedge on 2A if I’m a gambling man. There going to enact a legal limit one can carry outside a dwelling. Anyone caught carrying more than “x” will be charged as inciting or potential to incite violence and will get the book thrown at them.
Like alcohol, you can have a cellar full of guns at the house, but anymore than “x” in your system in public you’re going to jail.

Yup, they give no thought to the optics of it. I'm leery about any laws against it because I don't believe in constitutional infringement but just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean that you should.

Oh, this thread is rich. And anyone who thinks the fireman did the right thing is just plain stupid. The fireman, not the kid, is the only one who committed a crime in this case.
First, there is no crime for “terroristic threats” for exercising a lawful right. While this kid may be an idiot, or a douche, and should have nothing but ridicule hurled at him, he did nothing unlawful.
Second, the fireman literally kidnapped the kid. At gunpoint, without any lawful authority, he illegally detained the kid. What a fricking idiot.
Third, since when is it lawful for firemen to detain anyone? And since when is it lawful for one concealed carrier to detain another? This likely won’t, but could, get very ugly for the fireman and his pocketbook.

Most states - laws prevent you from possessing a handgun until 21.. so that might be a charge .. IDK Missouri law
